If not you, then who?
If not now, then when?
There are many ways you can help!
Why should you be a CASA Volunteer?
Become A Volunteer!
What do CASA Volunteers do? CASA Volunteers listen first. Then they act. Volunteers get to know the child by talking with everyone in that child's life; parents, relatives, social worker, DFCS Worker and others. They use the information they gather to inform the judges and others of what the child needs and what will be the best permanent home for them.
Requirements? All CASA volunteers are required to be 21 years of age, complete 30 hours of training and a thorough criminal background check and have a love for children. New CASA volunteer training is scheduled in the Fall, Winter and Spring each year.
